Imagine...

On a crisp September evening, you step out onto a farm field and are welcomed by the smell of roasted roots and the sounds of neighbors coming together. After your hosts introduce you to the gardens and to one another, you settle into the warmly lit barn filled with song from local musicians. Beautifully prepared dishes are passed around your table as you hear young leaders share about the gardens that feed you. The food is hearty, carrying vibrant colors, a deep respect for the land, and a whole lot of love. You feel connected here—to the nourishing food on your plate, to the good-hearted people on either side of you, and to the empowering cause you are supporting.

The Cause

Over the past four summers, 22 local young people have taken part in our paid teen apprenticeship. These teens have learned not only how to grow food, but how to grow as capable, responsible humans who care for earth, themselves, and one another.

Your ticket purchase funds apprenticeship positions for teens to grow with us in 2027. Thank you for believing in what we do!

Our Production Methods

Our Certified Naturally Grown produce and seedlings are the freshest, highest quality around, and raised bio-intensively without harmful chemicals. No pesticides, no synthetic fertilizers, and yes locally-sourced compost! We utilize people-power, “no-till” practices and use only organic inputs: this means life has the chance to THRIVE in our soil. We grow on 60 permanent beds totaling about ⅓ of an acre, along with a caterpillar tunnel and greenhouse. We welcome volunteers in Spring and Fall.
